Anyone installed an aftermarket one the Dmax or feel the need better one???

I was wondering if it might help the steering rattle issue...

Now you got me thinking... if the steering damper is built as badly as the factory shocks, it probably would be a good idea to change it out.

I'm gonna look into this over the next coupla weeks. After I fix my pile of busted cars...

Paintdude,

Got a good PARTIAL memory...Someone here did..They put a Rancho in and had a problem because they didn't have the right Fork to disassemble......

I am gonna wait for a bolt on replacement for the original one into the same holes in the drag link..I am sure a aftermarket one would improve steering just that much more...It just takes a tie rod fork tool to remove the old one..some times you can just smack the drag link with a 40 oz hammer and they will pop off like a tie rod end..

some one surley makes one that doesnt use that bracket dealie and goes into the OEM holes..

We could use a steering and suspension forum.
