well the brickyard busted my lid on my toolbox yesterday and their going to replace it,what are some good toolbox's?
I was at Kmart the other day to see what they were doing in the sell it all mode and the one I went to had a bunch of aluminum Delta brand toolboxes for about 150.00.

Weathergaurd. IMO is one of the best built toolboxes on the market. kind of pricey though!!
Everyone knows my preference: Highway Products. None better IMHO, and I looked for 8 months!

c'mon guys help me with this. :D
Husky = Home Depot
IMO,
Husky = Delta = You'll need a new replacement box in 2-3 years with serious tool storage use. If it's just to hide groceries, luggage (if you can fit it in) or jumper cables, Delta/Husky might be OK. I know 2 people who are on their second Delta box. :(
Spend the extra money now for a good box, and you won't be sorry later! Look at what you find on the big rigs - Highway Products or ProTech; both make boxes for pickups.
But that's just my opinion!

I have to agree with pills.
Weatherguard tool boxes have yet to disappoint me.
They are a bit pricey though.

pullinpower,
I've had boxes in my trucks for the past 15 years, and by far the best box I have ever had is the one I got now. It's made in the great state of Texas by Rawson-Koenig.
Check them out, although they are a little on the expensive side. My box was $580.00 but when I compare it to a Husky, Craftsman(my last box),Weatherguard, etc there is NO COMPARISON in my opinion.

Payload Plus by Delta.
Pricey, but worth it if you're going to abuse it. Ours get beat on by ignorant employees all day, and have shown no signs of failure. They are a very rugged box. Not just a delta with a different tag, these boxes are one piece with welded ends - the bottom can't fall out.

Good Luck

Rawson-Koenig gets my vote as well. My dad and I looked at several boxes and this one was by far the most substantial looking. I have noticed that many of the constuction worker's trucks I see around hear have a Rawson-Koenig box on them.
I have to go with highway poducts. They custom made mine to use the space under the roll top cover. Great workmanship and fit.
