I think it is the guage company that has a module that shuts the engine down after temp drops to certain point.
If anyone has one of these:
Time to shutdown is adjustable?
Can you over-ride the shutdown timing?
thanx

I installed the Isspro Turbo Temp Monitor, model R4130, which I purchased from Diesel Injection Service with Auto Meter gauges. Kennedy might also sell this monitor.
This module shuts down your truck when the exhaust temp drops down to an adjustable setpoint. This does not shutdown based on time. They sugjest adjusting the shutdown when post turbo temp drops to about 300 Deg. F. My thermocouple is mounted preturbo, so I lowered my shutdown temp to about 270 Deg F., because of the differential temp across the turbo.
I installed this unit in parallel with my exhaust temp gauge, and use the gauge to verify or adjust shutdown setpoint. I also installed a disable switch, which when activated, disables the monitor, and my truck immediately shuts down with keyswitch.

This is an email I got from these guys....its on my list of add on toys.....its based on time though and is my prefered method since i can set it for 1-15 miniutes in 1 minute increments and yank the key outa my ignition and go into the gas station and pay and not shut off my truck or worry about someone yanking my truck.
The Turbo Lifesavers for the 03 Duramax are available, list price is $275,
we sell them for $259 with free shipping. This is for the standard run time
of 15 max.
1. You are correct, turn the key on and you are back to run mode. One thing
to remember, don't touch the brake as this will shut the truck down.
2.To adjust the shut down time, there is a small push button. Each time you
push the button, that is one minute of run time. You can also hold the
button down and it will beep for each minute of run time. There is no
display, you just have to count.
3.The pre-luber mode disables the 'ignition' so the truck will not start.
You would simply flip the security switch and crank until oil pressure has
registered. However, on the '03 Duramax this feature will not work, sorry.
4.The anti-theft feature is a tiny toggle switch when activated will not
allow the truck to start even with the key. In your case with an '03, it
will disable the starter completely.
Right now the manufacturer does not have a web site but is planning on
launching one in a week or so.
Hope this answers your questions, if not feel free to call or drop us an
e-mail. ***.
