Last year I installed the 4

I feel your pain. I installed the Owens Glass step boards & box boards on my 01 3500. They look good, but when I stepped on the box board ( I'm about 218 lbs)to release my 5th wheel hitch I felt the board give. When I looked the rear bolt, that attaches to the fender, had pulled through the fiberglass. I took it back to the shop that installed it and they said they would fix it by using a large washer (actually rectangle) behind the fiberglass board. Big Mistake!! I now have a large piece of broken fender. I have written to Owens and e-mailed and to this day I have received no response. What good are looks without function?
