Westin Oval Steps

My wife and kids are all complaining that the new truck sits too high (all stock, no mods), so I'm thinking I should take a look at some steps. So far, I like the Westin Oval Steps the best. From what I can see, JC Whitney seems to have the best price. I've not been able to see many trucks with the oval steps installed...most around here seem to use nerf bars. I'm wondering how others like the oval steps, and how they have held up.

I just ordered my Westin Oval Step bars from ustaw.com They have the lowest prices so far. I have an 02 2500 HD CC D/A shortbox and with the step bars, the mounting hardware and s&h delivered to my door it cost me $262.00. I am very carfeul how I spend my money(well most of the time) and I searched for a month and this is the best price I found. Take a look, I don't think you will be dissapointed. :D :cool:

Atvpilot...thanks for the note on www.ustaw.com. The pricing looks good, but for $262 you must be getting the black oval step bars..not chrome?

Yep I am getting the black ones, but check the price on the chrome, I think they are still cheaper than any other site I have looked at. :cool:

i have the westin platinum (chrome over stainless)they are well worth the money over the chrome only,had the chrome only on my last truck and they started rusting in about a year and a half,these still look brand new,if you want a picture let me know mike(firelt1862@aol.com)

Firelt...thanks for the CPS note. I wish the Oval steps were available like that, but from what I've seen, they only come in chrome plated aluminum.
