View Full Version : Original tires...anybody want to sell them!!!!!
I have about worn out my original equipment tires on my 02 truck. I have read where many of you have replaced these tires with larger tires, so... does anybody have a set they want to sell at a good price.

I am in the market for them also.
I have a brand new 2500HD with 3,000 miles on the tires, none on the spare.
I live in the DFW area. I might be interested in selling the original tires if you are local and I don't have to ship them. We can discuss price, but I'm not interested in giving them away.
I want to replace them, but I'm in no rush.
I just replaced my original ones with BFG All Terrains.
They are the off-road variety (Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 215/85-16)
I got 7 of 'em since I got a 3500. The local guy offered me $60 each, but I was hoping for around $75.
If you're in Virginia and willing to pay $75, I'd be happy to get rid of them. I don't know if the 2500 takes the same size or not.
I forgot to mentioned they had 1100 miles on them when pulled (spare has 0 miles).
You may want to check out this outfit, they sell take offs, including wheels and tires:

armalite,
I am close to Fresno and have a set with less than 500 miles on them. I would be willing to meet you half way to deliver if you are interested in them. e-mail - leot@corpair.com

ED, Armalite, or anyone else,
I have a set of 24575R16E AT tires off my 2002 GMC 2500HD with less than 2K miles on them.
I will make someone a good offer.
E-mail me at skih2o@carolina.rr.com

I'm seriously considering an immediate wheel and tire upgrade when my '03 2500HD arrives. I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro. The tires will be the upgrade and PYO wheels...if you can call them that. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Just a quick rant. Why can't Generous Motors put 265 Stones on our truck's. Ford does with no problems. I'd have a hard time justifying an upgrade then.
