Thanks for the pictures, I knew I would regret not getting them, looks like I have a weekend project coming up :D

Love that White, I have a '97 White Z71, a '98 Arctic White C5 Corvette Coupe and a '72 White Short bed B/B Chevy Custom 10.

In thanks for the pictures I'll give you a tip I learned at several Corvette shows. IF you are using a wax on your white, stop. The wax is turning your car a yellow tint.

Use a product called Zaino at www.zainobros.com your white will glow like it never has before. I am a 30 year converted Maguire

Nate Buddy......heres another pic of a 3500 with both antenna's. I don't know why the dealer ordered a truck with XM radio up here. Alaska does not get XM. I wish we did though. The radio system up here stinks.

Thanks Nate-HD. I am using Zaino. My 97 was Actic white and after time of using Zymol, Mother's, Meguiar's, and ten others, I noticed when drying the truck, my cotton towels looked white and the truck had yellowed.

I read about http://www.zainobros.com polish (not wax) on the LS1 forum. I am skepitcal about results when dealing with a garaged car in a temperature-controlled environment. BUT, I tried it and think it is great. Seems expensive at first, but the amount needed to do the job is tiny and not really so costly. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I will warn you up front the Zaino is very addictive. Once you have used it and seen the results you will use it on everything including your lawnmower. :D j/k

DO NOT SKIP THE CLAY BAR, if you have never used one on your paint, it is a little scary at first, but once you feel you paint go from sandpaper rough to glass smooth under your hand and clay bar, you will know you have done well.

Had to edit the above. I clicked to quick and initially got the thumbs down. Meant to give a thumbs up!

I had a black MB and went to the last white truck and will stick with it. Red and black and dark blue show dust, pollen, etc., too easily. White, to me, does not look dirty after driving in the rain and is acutally dirty. You can't tell so much, until you start washing. Scratches are very hard to see on white and almost impossible to miss on the dark colors. The white is also much cooler in the Summer here.

As a matter of fact I bought my roof markers lamps about 2 months ago and put them on. Went pretty fast. Took about 1.5 hours. I used the factory + and - in the passenger access panel. If you look at my earlier picks you will see my truck didn't have them. I just measured off my 3500 and installed them.

I guess I'll have to look into the Zaino.

Thanks for the Zainio info! From what you said, I think I better wait until I get done tinkering with the fuel system before I get hooked on the Zaino. Sounds like a great product. The clay bar sounds interesting too... smile.gif
