For any of you that are installing the Reese on your Max Reese failed to provide all the proper instruction sheets in the kit. You may call them and they will fax them to you. Also the instructions they do provide say to install the frame brackets with the L- bracket facing out from the center of the box this is incorrect.Do not drill any holes following the first set of directions as you will find yourself with holes in the bed you cannot use. The kit also recomends the use of a 17/32 drill bit for the frame mounts. This is the only bit size you should use.1/2 inch will not work. Do not use the carriage bolts sent with the kit. The way the bolt endes on the frame you can not get a tork wrench on the nut. Use grade 5 hex bolts so that you make tork them at 85 foot lbs. Hope this saves someone lots of unecessary work. I found all these little problems out while helping my neighbor install his new hitch on his 2002 extend cab one ton D/A Good luck Ed
