Has anyone got or have info on the Chevy molded mudflaps? We live in southern NM so snow is not a factor but we would like to keep the mud off our 5th wheel. $36.00 a pair for front and back sounds good but does $65.00 for installation sound a little heavy to you? Thanks for your comments. Bob

I just bought a set of Chevy molded mud flaps a couple days ago. I have not installed it yet, but it should be simple to install, I hope. My Dad got the same kind of mud flaps installed on his truck at his work. It does not look hard to install.

As an option that may be of interest, look on Kaydenco web site. I have a pair for a single wheel rear axle and am quite pleased.

Easy Install - extended cab single rear wheel took about 1/2 hour 4 molded mudflaps - I'm not a tech person.

Bob E I have the Chevy installed mudflaps they seem OK although I haven't had them on long. Prior to the delivery the Stealer put some little (Looked like)Cavelier flaps on. Salesman said he thought they "looked better" regards jim

Hey Bob E
Bought the mudflaps and installed them myself. They're really easy. The key is to make sure they're square to the truck frame and parallel to the ground before you go drilling any holes. The only thing that took any time was the fact that to drill holes in the rear I found it easier to take the tires off. The front was no problem because all you had to do is turn the wheels. Hope this helps. In my opinion, keep the 65 bucks and buy something else for your truck. Rey ;)

Bob E.

I installed the OEM mudflaps and did not have to drill any holes. They fit perfectly and look very nice.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the replies. I picked them up and installed them yesterday. Three of the wheel wells were a snap to remove the "hole filler pins", but one had a hard plastic plugs that I had to drill out(go figure).

The rears were easy to install without removing the tires.

I didn't mention my after market step tubes. They interfered with installing the bottom bolt on the fronts. I FINALLY got one mudflap on and took it to a shop to install the last one. They charged $20.00.
