I snapped a few photos of all 3 the other night when I was installing my new TTT's (see link below). They look pretty nice. They aren't as big as the Lucerix, but definetly stick out further and have a better range of sight.

I got them from wjperformance in Kentucky for $332 delivered. Ordered then last Weds. after lunch and were on my door step the following day by noon. Great service.

I only have the manual mirrors. Didn't get the electric ones. Then instructions that came with the mirrors are very detailed and seem like the electric ones would just plug in. If you have a 2003 though, you need to by an additional wiring harness. If you get the mirrors with the optional lights, you need to do a little extra wiring. All spelled out in the instructions.

They look great and installed in about 10 minutes! Will get to try them out here in a few weeks when we head to Bristol, TN for the NASCAR race.

sdaver,

Ordered mine from w*j*sperformance.com as well (remove *'s when entering into your browser). Great guy owns it. I couldn't resist and ordered electric, heated, and marker/turn signal lights for $425. He was out of them the day I ordered and had them drop shipped to me. Got them 3 days later. These mirrors are great, and big. The electric/heated models plug right into oem connector. As 3-Fan said, the lighted ones require two additional wires to each mirror. According to the directions with the mirrors, running these two wires requires removing both interior door trim panels. I have yet to install mine and am wondering if there's any way to use a fish tape to avoid pulling the trim panels. Will know this weekend smile.gif

BigLakeDMAX,

I've had the front and rear door panels off my '01 a few times. The TTT instructions are very thorough and should walk you right through the install.

IMHO you'd be wasting your time with a fish tape. The panels go on/off very easy, and no more of those plastic fasteners to break or loose like on older models. I had a '92 Sub and hated to remove the door panels - completely different experience on this truck. Good luck.

Mirror's, mirror's, mirror's... anybody got a set they want to get rid of. I had a slights accident and ripped off my drivers side mirror. Factory, aftermarket, whatever I need a set. Email me if you want to sell...

sdaver -- "will they work with factory electronics?.."

Yes they will, on the '02 they plug right in. the factory harness is right behind the little plastic cover behind the mirror. ** If you get the signal/marker lamps you need to run 2 wires from each mirror. The instructions are straight forward w/ great pic's, not confusing.

BigLakeDMAX --"...am wondering if there's any way to use a fish tape to avoid pulling the trim panels"

No, it's a little tricky fishing throught the rubber boot between the body and door. Because of this you'll need the panel off. The detailed instructions helped in not breaking anything. The pic's show where the clips are & how to remove each item safely.

Just remember to hook up you're speaker wire when re-installing!! I'm off to re-connect mine, oops.

Installed the mirrors today - only thing I did to make it a little easier was to remove both ends of the accordian rubber boot between door and body - made it much easier to fish wire. Lights look pretty cool and quite bright.

It's about time gm made door trim panels mount this way - incredibly better than the old plastic ribbed push in anchors. Thanks for the advice mdrag and glamisboy - I didn't even think twice about pulling door panel after reading your posts. That, and double checked my speaker wires smile.gif , and other connections, twice before putting panel back on. And, powered up and tested everything before putting anything back together.

Now I'm thinking about having mirror covers painted to match the truck...
