www.kaydenco.com (http://www.kaydenco.com)

DuraFlap custom mud flaps are made from the finest quality flexible plastic available and designed not to tear, peel, curl or break. Our custom mud flaps are made from 3/8" polyurethane plastic; anti-sail, anti-spray. The anti-sail protects your truck against paint damage.

I've had them on my truck since I purchased it.
They still look like new.

Also checkout MudFlapsForTrucks.com (http://www.mudflapsfortrucks.com/home.html) and Husky Liners Molded Mud Guards (http://www.huskyliners.com/mudguards.html).

I used some statndard truck mudflaps to make Husky Extensions. (http://community.webshots.com/album/72366296bnboMY) The extensions add protection but they wouldn't be good off-road.

Well I like the Kaydenco ones the best so far, but man am I dumb. What is "anti-sail", or "anti-spray" all about anyway? And how durable are these plastic mud flaps? I have always liked rubber mud flaps, and thought the stiff plastic ones were the kind they sold at K-mart, but maybe I am behind the times there as well.

Speedy,

I believe "anti-sail" means the mudflap will maintain it shape and won't bend up in the wind. I have seen some rubber mudflaps with "anti-sail" brackets that keep them from flexing in the wind. I also purchased some of the SafePass plastic mudflaps and found them to be very thick and high quality - realtively inexpensive too. The Kaydenco's are also very nice (but more expensive as I recall).

Anti-spray means the surface of the mudflap towards the tire has grooves in it to channel the water downward. My Kaydenco flaps look like after 2+years.Worth every penny they cost and then some!

Yamahahauler,

I used the SAFEPASS MUDFLAPS (http://www.mudflapsfortrucks.com/home.html) described by jbplock on my '01 3500. They have been on for over 1.5 years and look new. Relatively inexpensive, but you will have to do your own 'custom fitting'.

If interested, check out the pics in my CUSTOM MUDFLAP ABLUM (http://community.webshots.com/album/59648586EDhnHS) to see how I approached the install. The first link in my sig will also take you to the website with these pics.

Here is link for a prior discussion on MUDFLAPS (http://forum.thedieselpage.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=000764). Try searching this forum for more topics. Good luck.

BINGO! Those are EXACTLY the running boards I want to put on my truck. Thankyou for the pictures mdrag. Where can I buy a set of DTA Corp running boads?

Beautiful truck you have there by the way, and a very clean mud flap installation. Thanks again. I had planned on doing pretty much the same thing with my truck, so it is nice to see one that has been done so well.

Bought the Kaydenco flaps and added some art from Chickenhauler.com. Nothing says dirty old man like a couple of chrome mudflap girls! ;)

Yamahauler,

Thanks for the compliments.

J&J's MILLENIUM 3" TAPERED TUBE BOARDS (http://www.j-jent.com/rbmilclatop.html) are another consideration in this style of running boards. I've heard that the J&J boards are $$, and forum posters have expressed mixed feelings with the ease of installation.
