UNDER DASH IGN. TAP

Dois any one know were there is a good spot under the dash to tap a wire in for ign. hot. Working on 2001 DA.

The junction block under the dash - near your left foot when seated contains several ign circuits.

Pin A of the lower-left 12-way connector on that junction block is connected to the IGN-1 circuit. There is a drawing of the connector pin layout inside the cover that will tell you which pin is pin A.

You can use a 12-volt test lamp or multimeter to verify, if you're in doubt.
