Was wondering - is $50.00 a rim an ok price to pay for the GMC alloy rims that come on the '03 Duramax Sierra?

It is a VERY good price. I paid $165 for one new out of the box, for a copycat. GM wants something like $250 for theirs.

check the recycler clasified I bought 4 with new tires on them for 350. :D ;) JD

I've got a 3500 CC dually that has the steel rims and also want to upgrade to cast aluminum. Anyone have any links where I should look for the rims other than the chevy dealers?

Look on Ebay, there are a bunch of truck shops that are selling almost new wheels (traded in stock wheels for the new and most popular after-market aluminum wheels).

Yea, cast is cheaper, but forged is not much more, and a hellava lot stronger!
