Anyone know if there are aftermarket rear wheel well liners available for our trucks? I noticed a 98 dodge 1500 4WD that had them but I'm not sure if they were stock. They were plastic and covered the whole rear wheel well.

I know some guys here have made some liners from heavy plastic truck mudflaps cut and notched to fit. That is what I plan to do one day.

I have always wondered myself why GM did not include wheel well liners with the truck. It looks kinda incomplete. I remember a post a year or so ago where someone gave the part number from either a Tahoe or Suburban for wheel well liners from those vehicles that were supposed to fit right in place on our truck bed wheel wells. Just a thought, futher investigation may be required.

I contacted Kaydenco about this and received a message back stating they were working on a set. Haven't heard anything back since. Most Dodge's have the rear liner in them from what I've noticed.

I remember a post somewhere, maybe another forum, about using the OEM wheel well liner from the 1500 stepsides. Had a part #, but I don't know if anybody ever tried it.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions...

I found something that my work at http://www.liftlips.com/. Cost is $35 for both rear wheel wells. I'll post pics when I get them on.

Has anyone had their wheel wells sprayed with bedliner? I've been considering going that route.

ccds,

Thanks for posting the previous links on this topic. I tried a forum search but must have used the wrong words because these links didn't come up for me.

I ordered a set of the "liftlips" which I hope to have in a few more days. It's hard to tell exactly how they will fit from their website but I think they will cover the openings in front and behind the tire but not the upper wheel well itself. I'm mostly concerned about catching mud and sand that gets thrown at the inside of the bumper and forward toward the cab. These lift lips might also work well with those who have their wheel wells sprayed with bedliner material.
