I run Cool Blues and noticed less glare and easyer to see the lines in wet weather.

And I did put in the relay on the pickup for the high beams. The plastic housings run so cool that in the snow, after running low beams the high beams iced over. Suprize when you turn on high beams and everything goes dark!!!!!!!
I only know about the SilverStars and nothing else listed.
I love the clearness of the light and the intensity, especially coupled with the Kennedy Diesel.com wiring harness.

Now there's a new star on the road, burning brighter and whiter than halogen ever has. SilverStar illuminates with a searing intensity, exceeded only by far more expensive High Intensity Discharge lighting. SilverStar is fueled by advanced design and backed by the prestigious SYLVANIA brand with its longstanding commitment to halogen innovation.
SilverStar's color temperature is a white hot 4,000 K, far higher than other halogens on the market and comparable to High Intensity Discharge headlights.
SilverStar shines with a luminance up to 20% greater than other halogens.
A sharp profile, silver tip, and amethyst blue coating create a dramatic, high-end, crisp, clean look.
4000K color temp, HID is 4100K (I think) and Cool Blues are 3455K to 3700K.

Installed the silverstars a week ago and are very pleased.Really make a differance and do not blind oncoming traffic. Also the price was right,19.95 each at local autozone store plus 10 dollar rebate per pair.Do not know about the other offerings from sylvania but the silverstars give off a true white light compared to stock halogens plus you can see farther to the sides as well as front.I drove over 400 miles in the dark this past week and can say they work for me.
Thanks for the info! Folks keep talking about the Kennedy harness, I can understand if it has better connectors and larger wires it will deliver a higher voltage to the lamps and therefore more light. The question is will the SilverStars cause a higher current flow and heat that will result in damage to the stock wires and/or connector. Also someone mentioned a one year life expectancy for the SS. I will call the factory on Mon.
It seems to me, if the SS do not cause damage to the stock wires and they have a reasonable life one would be greatly mistaken not to invest in them.
Im running the KD harness with the 4 light option and Phillips 85w Rallye bulbs for the lows and Phillips 100w Rallye bulbs for the highs. You talk about lightin up the night. So far I havent been flashed or harrassed about light intensity. I may have to go to an all-weather bulb when the snow starts to fly to keep glare bounce back to a minimum.
Just my two cents.

Kennedy info:
The HB kit is designed to get the maximum voltage possible to the headlamps while relieving the strain on the headlight switch, and undersized factory wiring. The result is much whiter brighter lights increasing visibility by putting more light on the road in front of you. There are currently two kits available. The first fits most any vehicle using 9005 and 9006 lamps. This includes most GM 4 lamp composites from 1990 on. There are also kits for older vehicles with H4 (2 and 3 pin push on spade connector) lamps. This covers vehicles with the old sealed beam glass lamps all the way back.
MDrag's test info:
I measured the voltage at the headlight connectors with the lights on by piercing the insulation close to the connector. The OEM and KD harness were tested with the stock bulbs and 70W LB/100W HB Phillips Halogen bulbs provide by Kennedy.
Voltage readings were obtained using a Fluke model 77 digital multimeter and compared to battery/alternator voltage after the system voltage stabilized. I also made measurements at factory idle speed and using the high idle mod speed of ~850 RPM (no difference).
The results were similar for the OEM bulbs or the 70W/100W bulbs. The OEM 4 lamp voltages were obtained using the modification posted on previous threads - that link for the 4 lamp mod no longer works. I removed that 4 lamp mod for testing of the KD harness and used the diode provided with Kennedy's kit for 4 lamp measurements.
Battery voltage measured approx 14.5V during the readings, but would fluctuate slightly and the actual voltage was recorded and used. Here are the numbers for the 70W/100W Phillips Halogen bulbs:
OEM Harness LB 0.6V drop max
KD Harness LB 0.3V drop max
OEM Harness 4 lamp 0.6V max drop LB bulb
1.2V max drop HB bulb
KD Harness 4 lamp 0.3V max drop LB bulb
0.3V max drop HB bulb
The Kennedy harness cut the LB voltage drop in half. The improvement was more dramatic in the HB 4 lamp mode with the LB bulb voltage loss decreased by 50% and the HB bulb voltage loss diminished by a factor of FOUR (400%) using the KD harness.
These numbers confirm what I see when using the headlights. There is NO dimming of the LB bulb(s) with 4 lamp operation. Whether you opt to use the higher wattage bulbs or the OEM bulbs - YOU WILL SEE AN IMPROVEMENT in your headlight illumination.
The harness has individual 12V power and ground leads for the DS and PS, along with heavy duty weather-proof relays (2). Heavy gauge wire is used throughout with first rate weather pak connectors. A removable diode converts the harness from 2 lamp HB to 4 lamp HB use. The harness is covered with split loom.
JK told me the harness kit fits 1990 to present with composite lamps. Kits available for most other models as well.
Hope that helps.

Running the Cool Blues , Cost not much more than stock bulbs and give off a much brighter light.Next upgrade to the Kennedy harness , four at a time has to be better than two. Also replaced stock fog lamp bulbs and as yet haven't had any heat problems.
