I know that this is "Off Topic" But I wanted to post this thread where it could get the most exposure. I figure posting pics of our trucks could be considered "Accessories".
Picture Trail is totally phasing out free pic posting. I got a message months ago informing me that the free pics will be limited and a couple of days ago I got a message of impending removal of all free posts.
Anybody out there paying members of Picture Trail? The message was vague and I am wondering if there is a problem with non-members viewing members pics? The message made it sound like You had to be a member to view member's pics.
I would like to find a free site to post a few pics, I am not exactly lookiing to post hundreds of them.
Thanks, John
IndigoDually,
I received the same info from PictureTrail. I've been using Webshots www.webshots.com for the last few months - it is free (for now). If you use the free account on Webshots, you can not see all of your album stats (views)- only the first three albums. Not a big deal.
I like Webshots better, especially the picture download program. The program really speeds up setting up an album.
The BIG WHEELS and KD EXHAUST link in my sig take you to the Webshots site.

I'm donating  to Picture trail.....I quite frankly like Pbase which I use for my MORE PICS....I will swap over when my time is up on the Pic trail.....As I really don't like it....
Pbase is looking for volunteer $$$ .....I can understand as it must take cash to keep it going but I have yet to donate till I see where it's going.....
How long can anything be free ??????

I just signed up for PictureTrail's free one year account, after Mackin pressured me for pictures of of the NuImage gauge faces I recently installed.
There should also be a designated area here on thedieselpage.com posting pictures.

I'm using Picturebase, pbase.com. I heard about it thru a digital camera site and so far it's been great.
It's totally free (for now), you can organize it however you want, caption pics, keep stats, pics can be viewed at full size (2048x1536 in my case), and their servers are FAST.
Regards, Steve
Just moved all my pics to Pbase. Much faster than picturetrail. Unlimited pics and easier to manage.

Hi,
I use Yahoo! photos and it seems fine. Free etc. I would be hesitant to pay for the service since the last picture posting site that did that went bankrupt very shortly after that (taking some of my money and photos with it).
