I am looking to get a set of Centerline Wildcats, one of the wheels in the H/T comp series. Any suggestions for online or stores that sell these wheels? I tried Centerline's retail locations finder, but didn't find anything local.

Also, tell me how you think this wheel will look on my truck (dark gray '03 Silverado LT Crew Cab SB 4x4).

Galen,

I think it would look PUNK! I like those myself........ not too wide, not skinny, easy 2 clean, forged (I think) and easy on the eyes.

I went with the Comet in the same series. I called in, and since there was nobody in my area, they gave a fair price and sold direct.

The large center caps SUCK as the circular emblem inserts pop loose when you tighten the screws. Also, you should get a super thinwall lug socket as the well clearance is VERY tight.

Not that you'd want to clip on weights, but they won't fit. I had Equal put in mine...

Anyone know if my stock caps will fit? I read some posts from a while back that guys were retaining their stock caps with Centerline wheels...

IMO, Centerline Extreme Duty wheels are the best choice for the HD's if you need the capacity. I agree that the chrome Centerline caps (deep cup type) are no better than the generic off-the-shelf caps.

However....
The "moon" type caps that I have are awesome. They are polished aluminum with the Centerline emblem embossed into the cap. It does have a ring of the "gel" stuff with the Centerline name in it. No problem with them pealing in 2 years, and appear to be secure. The caps attach with 2 stainless bolts and are very secure. Very classy look to them. They are more costly at about 25 bucks each, but in the end, it was about the same as the cheap caps and new lug nuts.

Check them out at

Another thing that I noticed was they are not made in Taiwan, like I would expect. The sticker says "made in South Africa". Curious....

Hey DmaxMaverick, nice looking truck.

After looking through the centerline site, I'm thinking more along the lines of exposed lugs.

I looked through all the wheels in the Extreme Duty series, but they are all 5-6 lug wheels. Centerline must have changed things around recently because their catalog doesn't match up with any of the online Centerline wheel vendors.

That's a nice looking wheel. You might want to check out the Alcoa line too, they make a wheel that looks very similar to this one. I recently bought a set and am very impressed. Price was right, high load rating and forged construction.

Galen, check out my truck photos... I've got the now discontinued Rattlers on there. They are very similar to the Wildcats... Used the OEM centers too.

On the large caps:

As soon as I tightened the tapered head screw, it compressed the vinyl insert and it poppped loose.

Once you run these caps, it's tough to go back as they will leave a black smut, and chafe the wheels.

Thinking of going to the OE caps like SoMN did.
