What type of air ride should a guy be putting on his Dmax? Does any body put the system in all four corners of just the rear? Where can I find these systems on the net and how much $ can I expect to pay? Any info on upgrades that have been done to your system would be greatly appreiciated. (type of bags, size of cmmpressor, size of tank, etc.)

A member in our tractor pulling club has slammed his and added bags on all corners with 18" rims. He pulls his 24' gooseneck with water injected diesel A/C tractor. Will try to get by with the camera this week and get some info. Going by your tire size your looking for load support more than height. Good source for distributors is "Truckin" magazine.
Let me know if I can help.

Last week I had two rear leaf springs removed from each side and Air Lift's air springs with compressor installed ... first trip towing very heavy 26' boat on 32' duel axel tralier of 600+ miles went extremely well...vechile ride both loaded and empty drastically improved...for those in this area, I can higly recommend We Do Trucks of Raleigh for their installation ... on line they can be found at wedotrucks.com, I deal with Ryan ...wife much happier with truck's ride which is a major plus ... best way I know to express the difference is to say the Air Lift's did for my truck's ride what adding Juice did for the engine ... can't offer much in way of price info, had mine installed as part of a package price for installing several items, can say having an onboard compressor runs the price up but have no doubt that it is well worth it  ...Jim

Hammer Down,
JEBar's approach sounds like a good compromise vs. a full air suspension. I'm happy with my Fleetco air suspension, but, of course, they are out of business. The Fleetco unit keeps the truck level under all conditions, lower in the back than the stock truck, just slightly higher in the back than the front. Just make certain that any solution you look at preserves the full rear axle capacity. It's difficult to see how you could "slam" these trucks without compromising rear suspension travel.
If you search for air suspensions you will find one company offering four courner air ride, but their front end solution is for 2wd trucks only.
Good luck.

I am getting the Kelderman air suspension installed next Friday the 6th. I'll post the results on the ride improvment. Its just for rear suspension, and not a complete replacement. They remove the rear spring shackles and connect the rear spring to the air bags.... You can see the system on their web site.
They say you won't lose any load capacity, and you get quite an improvment in the ride...... We'll see.

Thanks for the info guys. Dave
I am looking for an air suspension to augment the factory suspension of my truck as well. I tow an 11,200 lb. trailer that has a tongue weight of 1600 lbs., and it makes my 2500 HD truck squat like a puppy taking a leak. Can someone point me to a few web sites that may have what I am looking for?
Thanks.

3TV...am certain that the Air Lift system I used can be bought from many sources. As stated above, check out wedotrucks.com, bought mine from them and have found them to be an honorable company....and in case anybody is wondering, my only connection with them is that of a satisifed customer....Jim
