Unfortunately our truck has to stay outside and we
live on a dusty road. Needless to say I wash the
truck very frequently and typically he truck sits in the
driveway for 3 or 4 days before I take it out on
the road.

^...A portable carport would be my first thought. To me, a cover would be more trouble than it's worth. Dust will penetrate through the material, unless it is a non-cloth material. You can have one (double carport) installed for less than a G note. Weld base plates to the poles, anchor it with drilled anchor bolts, into small concrete pads. When you're done, remove it, cut the anchors flush, sell the car port, done deal.

I know this does not keep the dust off of the machine, however, I'm thinking of UV protection, which is more important (IMHO) than dust protection.

Your best bet would be a Tyvec cover. Very thin, light and waterproof. Still would be a hellva lot of material to handle in the wind though. Any of the other covers would just be too much to deal with.

OK....... I figured it out. I'm going to sell
the 56 Nomad and put the truck in the garage!

Howie,
You can't sell your Nomad. :( Whenever I get my 57 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr Htp., fixed up we can go "crusin". Buy a portable garage and a cover for it. Terry
