Moving X-Mount Mirrors from 01 to 03

I just traded my 01 2500HD D/A for an 03 3500 D/A. I started to move my Luxerix (x-mount) mirrors to the 03, but I discovered the 03 wiring harness no longer has a factory connector where the 01 did.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any solution other than cutting and splicing wires?

Kennedy's website says that only the manual version of the Lucerix mirror is compatible with '03 trucks. Best bet would be to find someone with an '01 or'02 to buy your mirrors and go with the TTT mirror for the '03.

It's a shame because I was hoping my Father-in-law and I could share a set of Lucerix mirrors but they don't work on his '03.
