Will this fit on a 2500HD?

http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=47&name=AR-767&style=767&desc=Steel%20alloy,%20painted&section=S

Part #767-6882
Size-16x8
Offset-12
Backside- 5
Bolt circle- 8x6.5
Note- 5.15 Bore

If not, can anyone recommend a simmilar style steel wheel that will. I want to put on 285/75-16 tires.

Thanks

On edit- How about this one also?

http://www.alliedwheel.com/steel/blackdaytona.html

Part number 5068080

The back space is 4.5 on this wheel. Is this better than the 5 on the first link for this size of wheel?

The first link says RWD vehicles. Why can't you use for a 4WD?

Thanks

I'm not sure about fit, but you may want to check the wheel load rating. Some of the steel rims of seen on friends trucks have been quite soft, like they were made with tin foil. The factory rims are pretty rugged, though not as tough in my experience as those on the last generation of trucks. Now, if only they were 8 inches wide...

They should fit with 285/75's, several others on here have 16x8's with 285's. You might have to crank your torsion bars a couple turns. They would look cool.

Thanks.

I'll have to call and check the ratings I guess.

Are the 2500HD wheels hubcentric like the 3500?

White Duramax,
Got any pics of your truck with the 285's? It is excactly like my GMC except mine is a SB. You can post'em or email them to me if you like.

Well the ones from Allied are $84 each but only rated at 2000#. Not enough for a 2500HD.

Maverick,

Both the 2500 and the 3500 need hubcentric wheels. Balancing any other is a royal flaming pain in the butt.

If you go with new wheels and pull or carry any really heavy loads be sure you stay at the same carrying capacity as the OEM wheels or better go up a bit.
