View Full Version : Bose stereo radio reception
Anybody else with the Bose 6-CD stereo notice a decrese in local radio station reception? The CD sound is very nice, buy my '87 toyota's old radio picks up stations better.
Anything I can do to it?

You might check the antenna. Most reception problems are antenna related, not radio. If it is grounded somewhere it shouldn't be, that will do it.

All 4 of my Chevy trucks I have had since '92 have had poor radio reception. I think this is one thing GM will never get right!

Called up the dealer - said to bring it in and get it checked out, as he said the reception I described sounded like something was wrong - bad ground possibly.
Anyway, the Bose CD is very impressive with the volume turned up to about 1/2 (about all I can stand..) with:
"Was the dark of the moon, on the sixth of June
In a Kenworth, pullin' logs
Cabover Pete with a refer on
And a Jimmy haulin' hogs
We is headin' fer bear on I-One-Oh
'Bout a mile outta Shaky-Town
I sez 'Pig-Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck
An' I'm about to put the hammer on down'..."
blasting out of the speakers... smile.gif
