Went and got a load of gravel for the driveway at lunch in my dump trailer. I gave the operator 7 fingers for 7000#. Well in my lack of being around limestone quarries much, I actually ordered 7 ton. When he went back for another scoop I stopped him since the trailer was full. Went across the scale and got 5.1 ton. Trailer is 10,000GVW and he trailer weights 2100#. So I am 2300# over loaded. Tires I think are the limiting factor. They are load type D which are good for 2,540# each times 4 = 10,080#.

I got it back here to work, but am questioning if I should try to drive the 25 miles home. Or should I just dump some and come back later tonight and load it up? Tires real real warm when I stopped.

Help Please!!
