last year i purchased mud flaps from j-j enterprises directly to install on my new dually. this was in march 2002. august 30, 2003 i pull into tsc and discover that the bottom stainless is gone. a call to them and they said too bad, we do not stock repair parts! you must buy new one. 5 months out of warrenty and no help at all, just buy new one. will the other go bad and i have to replace both. i think not!!!! imo j-j is not very customer service frindly. anyone else have problems?

I have some J&J Millenium boards and have been very pleased with them - no complaints.

However, in the process of ordering them,I spoke with one of "J’s" regarding shipping. J&J had quoted $185 freight, which I thought that was high. The distributor I ordered from had tried to arrange an alternate shipping method but J&J wouldn’t do it. They suggested I try talking to J&J and when I did, they basically said “take it or leave it”. So, since I really wanted the Millenium boards, I “took it” and paid the freight. No regrets but J&J did seem aloof…

Generally, I think J & J is very high quality and over priced. If you are willing to pay more than top dollar you will probably get an outstanding product. So if an excellent Item costs X dollars
you can get 15% better at J&J for 1.5X dollars -
It's called the Theory of Marginal Utility - how much more do you want for how much are you willing to pay.

I have purchases many after market products - in chrome etc. I have always looked at what's out there and What J&J has to offer - I never purchased from them - even though It would not have hurt my pocketbook. It's a matter of self respect.

Well at leat they are still in business.

I orederred and received my running baords from DTA Corp., which dried up and blew away less than a year later. When my father-in-law similar baords for his truck the only ones I could find were from J&J. (The Classic).

We orderred them, they came in when promised and seem to be of quality in line with price. Maybe we got lucky. They were a little more work than the DTA boards to install, but unless you walk right up and take a good look you can't tell his boards from mine, and if anything the J&J boards stand up better to the close inspection.

On edit, there's no predicting what the filter won't allow.

Top quality stuff in my opinion... I got the Millenium boards and 2" bed rails. More expensive, but well worth it!

jbplock: you are right about the shipping, but one of the J's told me to ship it to a local business rather than my home and it was 50-60 bucks cheaper.
