Hi everyone
I remember seeing some type of tool box, plastic probably that fits under the rear seat of a extended cab or a crew cab truck. It fit just under the seat and had a few diffrent storage compartments in it. Does any one have any info on this product? Name, web address, or phone #
Thx in advance

It can be ordered from any GMC dealer (I did get mine at a Chevy dealer though) and is for Ext Cab only. Here is a link for pictures mine. Part numbers are also in the pics. Prices will vary greatly. I got mine for $37 bucks. They finally cought the price mix up and it went up almost $1k. I have heard rumors of it being in the $300-$500 range now. Good luck.

GM part number is 12498114. List price $250. My local Chey dealer wanted list price, so I got mine from GM Parts Direct (www.gmpartsdirect.com) for $150 +$30 shipping.
Listed in the GM Accessories catalog (page 9). Worth a look if you haven't seen it before, but is a large PDF file, so be forewarned.

Thx for the reply guy's
Mav, I cant believe you only paid $37 dollars for your's, list price is $1009 at the local stealer and even parts direct wants $575 for it.
It's a nice looking box, just what I wanted to get but not at those prices. I just bought a polished diamond plate tool box that I payed a lot less than that for. I'll tell you what I'll give you $72 for your's that's a 100% profit your making, much better than the stock market. :D
What do you say old buddy, pal of mine. :D
Txdoc, I think your's is a little better priced but it dosen't look like its got a floor to it or seperate compartments.
Don't know what to do now. Maybe I'll make one myself out of some nice pine or oak. ;)
Thx again for the reply's

I have a "box" like TxDoc's and love it. If you need boxes to store things there are all kinds of plastic boxes that can be used and placed under the seat inside the new design box which won't let it slide around. If you install it with the lock like I did the seat is locked down for security. Plastic boxes and the new design "box" work very well and a heck of a lot cheaper.
