Anyone out there have the part number for the trailer brake wiring harness? Seems someone wanted it worse than I did and stole it from the center console.

ThePend,

On edit..The 5-wire harness that is found wound up with a flat 4 pin/round 7 pin adapter is for option Z82 Trailering special equipment. This, with my understanding from the dealer is p/n: 15072794. This harness is for the electronic brake controller (i.e. Tekonsha Prodigy, etc.)
If your truck was equipped with option UY2 Camper Wiring provisions, there is an 8 way coiled wiring harness tucked up against the frame on the drivers side for campers.

Rgds,
Don

Thanks Don

I have the 7 round to 4 pin adapter. Had not had time to hook up the electric controller and someone stole the 5 wire plug that hooks to the panel underneath the driver side dash. A quick trip to the parts dept should take care of that.

Thanks

ThePend,

BTW, I noticed in your sig you are running Yoko 285's. How do you like the tires? Way back when I had my old RX7 I had a set of Yoko's and I remember them being soft. Great for a sports car. What's the ride like for a HD and how are they wearing so far?

Don

The Yoko's ride great. Not too firm, not too soft. They are very quiet at highway speed. Im running 50 psi in the front and 45 psi in the rear.
