I was under the impression that the Escalade cluster worked fine except the lack of WTS LED, which caused a trouble code. It looks like all they did was drill a hole in the console and add the WTS light. If that's all they did, what a rip-off.

When the console is replaced does the mileage reset to zero? If so this could void your warranty.

The Escalade cluster DOES have the tranny temp gauge. The "Special Duramax electronics conversion and programming" has got to be just a marketing ploy to entice morons to buy one. And yes, the hack-job-drilled-hole-with-an-LED-installed should bring the price DOWN BELOW what you can buy an unmolested Escalade cluster for!!

One other item,

The tachometer doesn't show the correct red line range for the diesel engine.

Not only that, but this mod is probably
the mod I will never do.

Spend 300-400 bucks for something that
does nothing to improve performance
and brings pretty much no new functionality.

But it does look cool :D
