Hello All

I was just wondering before I buy some parts if this is even possible. I have a 95 LS Suburban usual equipment (4x4 6.5 3/4) but I wanted the cool rear-view mirror in the sub. I have the plain one that is just the mirror, I was interested in getting the compass/temp one from a wrecked suburban or tahoe and installing it in mine. The main questions that i have are what all do I need if and only if this is possible w/o being a huge mess. I know i need the mirror assembly but what else is needed, I am sure there are some sensors to install and things like that or is this just a plug in thing. Lemme know if anyone else out there has done this..

John,
I just added a compass temp mirror to my 01 D/A
and it was easy, but the harnas(sp)was in the
headliner. All I needed was the sending unit for
the comp.If you find one you will need the plug
that goes into mirror, and part of the wiring with it,also the temp sensor for the compass.GM
dealer can give you a copy of wiring,so you know how to hook it up.
