Hot Juice, truck seems faster on lev 3 then 4

I just made 2 fast runs with my Hot Juice, (I had to do it just once before I get my controller) The truck pulled very hard and held the acceleration on level 3 but on level 4 it defueled more and seemed much slower, was real erratic with the shifts.

Does the Allison just need to learn a bit more or was I just slipping the tranny that much?

I had two buddies in the truck and it sorta embarassed me! :confused:

I find the same when running the hot juice without the t/h on. On level four without t/h the shifts are sloppy, long and erracric. Just like you stated. It is better with the t/h but I do experience a "burb" in the shifting every once and a while.

I run level 3 normal and level 4 in t/h

I have also found that there is a sweet spot for tranny and engine temps to make everything runs at its best.

Hey,

Hot Juice take a while to acclimate to the Alli. The Alli is just protecting itself. It is smoother at 90hp, but no doubt the Hot Juice is it.
