UOA results look good! It's encouraging to see those low Copper and Silicon numbers. Mine are still a little high and I hope it’s just normal break-in. At 18kmi my Cu was 40 and Si was 12. All other wear metals are in the low single digits. I’m hoping to see the Si and Cu trend down as the engine continues to break in. Do you have any low mileage UOA data from your engine? Also what air filter are you using? Thanks! smile.gif

The earliest data on hand is from about 50k miles. I usually change the oil anywhere from 3000 to 5000 miles and also use Napa 7202 (wix) oil filters.
I have been using an Amsoil air filter since 30k miles and it has been cleaned once.
Balancing rates for all injectors are below + or - 2.0. I do have one cylinder that tends to get in the mid to high 2's though. I think it's number 7.

Thanks for the info.. I had an AMSOIL foam filter on my 98 6.5 and my Si levels came down from about 12 to 5ppm after installing it at about 35kmi. If the next UOA on the Dmax doesn't show Si below 10ppm I may try an oiled foam filter or maybe the UMP.
