Please join me in welcoming longtime member Bill Plock as the newest forum moderator. Aside from being a genuine GM diesel enthusiast, Bill's resume includes a degree in electrical engineering and he is currently employed by a large Aerospace and Defense company.
Bill started his diesel experience with a 1985 VW Golf (purchased new) then a 6.5TD powered 1998 Chevy K3500. Bill became a member of The Diesel Page back in 1999 shortly after acquiring the Chevy. In October of 2002, Bill traded his 6.5 for a 2003 Duramax powered truck.
In short, Bill's level of GM diesel experience and the quality of his forum participation are the primary elements we look for in a moderator. His #29 forum registration number means he has been participating here in the BB for nearly four years.
Thank you for helping.

Welcome Aboard Bill.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to help out with the forum. Since joining the page in 1999 I’ve learned a great deal and I’m looking forward to learning even more in the years to come. It’s the members here that make the difference – a great bunch of folks who enjoy helping each other get the most form their GM Diesels.
JP,
Hmmm… best oil … Let see… any CH-4/CI-4 Diesel from Amsoil, Castrol, Chevron, Mobil, Penzoil, Quaker State, Redline, Shell, Schaeffers, Valvoline, ect should be OK… :D

My sincere thanks for the vote of confidence
Bill, congratulations, a welcome addition to the moderator staff.
Your willingness to help me on e-mail and on a Saturday, when I was having lift pump problems, shows us the true gentleman you are.
