Well after lurking here for years,drooling over everybody elses truck we went for broke.
Up till the last minute I couldn't decide on a 3500/2500HD. I only tow a 2 horse BP and at most in the future -maybe a 4 horse GN. So I don't need the DRW. Practicality won over having the bigger truck--I still like being able to go thru the drive-thrus.
Tried forever all over to find a 2500HD,CC,LB D/A SLT GMC (really don't like the chevy front end)
I couldn't get one acceptable to us before the june 2 deadline (0% or $3k). The dealer I was working with knew I found something "close" at Buckles for 49 over invoice. Anyway He gave me a good deal on the 2004. It's everything I wanted, the color my wife wants, just will loose the $3K.
Should be here some time in AUG.
