Glad I bought a Diesel Again...Gas Prices WTF

Well, maybe I am a bit slow, but did fuel prices go up like 18 cents overnight?. My last gas fill up(not in my truck wiseguys) In my lawn equipment was thursday. $1.6X gallon. I fuel up one mower today and its 18 bucks :eek: I look its like 1.85 gallon....ends up being like 40 bucks just to fill up my mowers.
BS man OPEC sucks....I need a Dmax Scag Turf Tiger....Detune it all you want I only need like 25+ Hp. My dream come true......Mowing lawns @ 125mph (Predator Baby)....That would be a sight I have to experience and see
Guess that helps my Diesel Pay-off curve....If prices go up anymore for fuel...Ill be in line for an 04 .5 Dmax. :D

Seems to me they are playing a game with us all the time to raise prices. First fuel is 1.20 a gallon then spikes to 1.40 Then we think 1.20 is a bargain, then they raise it to 1.49 a gallon all the time after we get used to it, then they spike it to 1.74 a gallon and we think 1.49 is a bargain. See where we are going with this. Now if fuel was back to 1.30 per gallon we would all be so HAPPY. Maybe around election time they will do that.

We all need to go on strike about buying fuel. But this country could never do that, we are people on the run-go too much.

Yeah I read bout that oil line being busted, Typical response from them was we will fix it ASAP As Slow As Possible.....Trucking fuel in costs more etc.....With the millions of gallons we have in reserves, it goes up this much
I guess the whole point of my thread was Not gas, But how to slap a Dmax on my mower :D :D ......
On terms of Oil Co's. I was just reading an annual report from a company I believe called POGO???? The stock return sounds phenomenal...Great Co. that keeps finding major oil reserves with low start up costs. I know the markets been sucking hind nut for years now but It looked promising. Bill

Could be worse, I saw on the news that Gas prices in CA are over 2 bucks a gallon, to the tune of $2.30 in the north. I think Mac is right on, diesel will follow, lets just hope it doesn't go higher than gas like six months ago.

$ Cheapest fuel around Huntington beach, So. CA, is $1.77/gal for #2 diesel and $2.05/gal for regular gas.

Diesel is $1.69/gallon here in Oregon... $2.10/gallon reg unleaded ... $2.35/gallon super. Heard we're the 2nd highest in nation ... perhaps because we're so close to CA. smile.gif Like having the Dmax and VW TDI right now.

I can't complain about the diesel prices here in Aurora, CO. It is a $1.43 for diesel and anywhere from $1.59-1.69 for 85 octane. Highest I have seen is $1.89 for 91 octane. Thank god the wife's Saturn gets good gas mileage!!
Too bad I don't have a way to store fuel, I could stock up before the diesel price's head North for the winter.....

Go to www.flyingj.com (http://www.flyingj.com) and look a their prices country wide. There is a place in GA where it is still $1.28.

Love Guatemala diesel - $.85 to $.95 US, Texaco, and it appeared to be cleaner than US (cut fuel filter test).

I heard all the pumps have a Vaseline Dispenser so it soesn't hurt as much when you drive away from the pump.
