Problems

My 2001 GMC has ran good for 85,000 miles. Coming home today it lost power and was blowing clouds of white smoke. It quit twice but I was able to restart it and limp home. I'm thinking injectors. Any other ideas.

Fuel filter history? Pick up a bad load of fuel? Fuel winterized for the ambient temperature? What are the trouble codes?

The fuel filter has 10000 miles on it and I have 300 miles on that tank of fuel. I live in Michigan and by my fuel from the same station. I will be taking it to the dealer on Monday so I won't know the codes until they look at it. I've went out and started it 3 times since I got it home. It cranks a long time then starts and then dies after a few seconds.
