'02 powerless when towing

I just hooked up my 10,000# trailer to the '02 D/A for the first time in 6 months. Pulling it up the mountain where I usually fly up was struggling. With a small grade had a problem getting up to 35 mph. Never got over 45 in places I've gone 60-65 mph.

Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Bob

Maybe the fuel filter ...(??) how long since it was changed?

It's beem about 5000 mi since the last change. I'll go ahead and change it, never know what junk might have ended up in there.
