View Full Version : 2003 GMC
I've been reading this forum for a year or so, learning all I could from you knowledgable folks. I've had a bunch of 2500's, but never a diesel. After reading all I could about the Dmax, I decided I had to have one, so I just bought a 2003 GMC 2500 EC SLE D/A. I had to go all the way to Maine to pick it up, but the ride home was pure pleasure. This truck is incredible! The interior is nicer than my 2000, and the Duramax is awesome. The trip/mileage computer is a nice addition, and if anyone is wondering the steering wheel controls are pretty handy.
This forum is a great resource to GM truck owners, thanks to everyone here for contributing their expertise.
Congrads on becoming a new Dmax owner. I wish I could get over the new 03 look but I'm sure that's the only thing,IMHO, that's wrong. Post some pics and maybe you'll change the minds of people like me on this board. :D

Oneton-I'm not crazy about the front end either, but I like it better than the Chevy.
How could you not drive it like you stole it? This truck is fast!
the inside looks great and the truck might go like a bat out of hell but the front end of the 2003 chevy is very ugly inmy opinion the Gmc looks a little better.I think that Gmc will be in for a good year.
The GMC is much better looking than the Chevy, DB. I'm sure they'll both grow on me with time.

Couldn't agree with you guys more. I could never figure out why GM can't leave a good thing alone.
Imagine if they left the outsides alone and gave us the improvements inside???
I'd be looking for a '03 GMC if that was the case.!!
Good Luck with your '03!!!!
