I noticed something on GMs larger truck sight. You need to go to at least a 6500 series, select options. You will then notice that that the 7.8L I6 Duramax has a primary AND secondary fuel filter. So does the Cat.
Also, I see they have "Exhaust Brake and Warm-up Devices" under "DIESEL ENGINE EQUIPMENT". An exhaust brake and/or restrictor to help the engine warm up faster as JK does with his.
