Trying to get #2 dialed in for optimal pulling. Have quickly learned that running empty and running loaded requires two different wastegate settings.
Unfortunately, the jam nut location is not condusive to quick on-the-run adjustments, and can result in some blisters on your knuckles from the hot turbo housing.
"INTRODUCING BUNGEE-MASTER 1.0". I now leave the jam nut set at my 'unloaded' daily driver setting, and have experimented with various lengths and widths of nylon bungess until one worked perfectly for my 'loaded' setting, maintaining 12PSI boost at 70mph with 8500lbs in tow, 750 degrees EGT (downtube).
Now when I check the oil before a haul, I hook one end of the BUNGEE-MASTER to the wastegate arm, and the other to the carry handle on my passenger side battery. Vio-la! BUNGEE-MASTER!
