quick oil question

Hi all Just a quick oil question.
Where do i get the mobil fully synthetic oil, and whats the exact name of it?
Nobody seems to carry it around me.

You could get it here thru AV Lubricants....They are a DP vendor with a banner add......

Other then that you might check at a Diesel Shop.....The Delvac Synthetic isn't as easy to get as Delvac 1300.....

Mobil Delvac 1 is the correct name.

Farm and Fleet stores (not to be confused with Fleet Farm) carry it around here, at a good price ..... but it's not always on the shelf. I wish they stocked a little more Delvac 1 and maybe just a little less Pennzoil!! :confused:

Are you guys talking about Mobil 1 or Mobile DELVAC 1?

As I understand, Delvac 1 has been kept from the discounters and is a distributor only product...

I called my local oil distributer that i buy my race oil from and they can order it for me.
Case (4gal) price is 118 dollars, 55 gal drum is 1200 greenbacks. Thats 29.50 a gal by the case or 21.82 a gal by the drum.

So can you all guess what I did? Thats right the drum baby!! I got a buddy to split it with me and i got enough oil to last a longgggg time. smile.gif

Now all I have to figure out is do I wipe her with a cloth or disposable diapers. lol

I thing AV Lube only asks 82 for a case of 4 gallon lugs plus shipping. I can just see the wife's face when I told her I bought a $1200 55 gallon drum of oil. :eek: Talk about sleeping in the dog house.
