4" exhaust and Titan V receiver hitch?

I have a REESE Titan V receiver hitch on my truck and I'm thinking about adding a 4" exhaust system. My question, does anyone have both installed on their truck and did you have to modify the exhaust hangers to install it properly? I have read that some modification may be required as the tail pipe routes close to the spare tire. Any replies would be welcomed. Thanks Dave

Yes dave a little bit of tweaking on the hangers is necessary. I put the same hitch and a banks exaust on my buddys 01 cc dually, and the exaust just barely touched the hitch. I just kinda tweaked it with a long bar. make sure the downpipe flange is loose, just in case. Rember its connected to the turbo and you dont wanna break that.
