Boost Gauge Response Time

I just installed Isspro boost & EGT gauges today--went for a test run and I'm wondering if my boost gauge is working right. I tee'd it into the wastegate hose, but the response seems really slow, is that normal?? Should it register any boost at idle? What should it read at 55MPH on flat ground?

Show boost at idle?? No
Boost flat ground 55?? Not much couple pounds maybe just maintaining speed no real acceleration...

You will see boost shoot up pretty good accelerating fast and when you accelerate on a decent grade.....


You need to be under load to produce boost,then it will come up fairly quick......

Thanks for the info, I didn't even get a chance to get it warmed up--tomorrow I'll see what I get WOT. :D

Same thing happened to me. I thought I had made a mistake. I had to take it for a drive and get it loaded for the boost to show up.
