And I have nothing to say!!!!! Good, I guess. Truck is happily sleeping out in the street tonight(takes up almost the entire driveway), slowly dripping. Dripping what, I don't know. Several colors of fluid are visible. Can't determine which exactly, but I'm convinced I need a new rear main seal. I'm almost ready to do it myself since I have a garage now. Oh yea. I am also happily situated in Stafford, VA. Used the truck a bit to move. No problems. Truck in snow. No problems. Truthfully, the truck hasn't been leaned on more than hauling crap to the local landfill and maybe carrying some people. Don't stall, though. I'm also approaching 190k miles. Saving for the Lube Specialist oil lines, plus I want to put a tranny cooler in like I had on my 6.2. But, with the recurring slipping codes from the tranny, I can't really push it until I get it rebuilt($$$). But, I CAN say this parking lot hog is as content driving me to work and back(54 miles, some stop and go) as it is resting under the oak tree in my front yard(and having sticks dropped on it, damn squirrels). My foray into Ebay cost me $3200 over the cost of the truck($5856 or so), but every time I drive it, I love it just that much more. Sure, I'd love to have a Dmax/Allison, but can't bring myself to get rid of my ol' ride(can't afford the payment, either). Big thing for me, though, I need more power. The lethargic motor has to go. I want to rebuild, but can't afford it yet. The GM8 turbo I put on is flawless, the Heath exhaust is awesome(need to fix that one clamp), and the current residing fsd has not given me any problems. BUT, I have not driven the truck more than 3 hours at a time, so that may change. Plus, I don't drive it every day(I did for about 3 weeks), so that may have some bearing. Overall, as it nickel and dimes me on the little things(STILL can't find that door panel piece I need), it's not for sale. And, yes, someone has already asked.

Randee if the motor is running good go ahead and buy the heath 2.0 chip and turbomaster you won't be unhappy with the power! Good luck cudaaa

Before you conclude that the rear main seal is leaking, check the engine valley. I thought my rear main seal was leaking. I also had a B&M extra capacity pan to install, and wanted to know what shape the trans was in - So I took it to a shop. They installed my pan, adjusted the pans, and determined the rear main seal was NOT leaking. Oil was slowly coming from the valley, travelling down the rear of the engine, and made it's way to the weep hole in the bell housing - which made it appear to be a rear main seal leak.

So, before you tackle the seal - check the valley....

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong I seem to remember a thread that a bad CDR could cause rear seal problems
