2006 Duramax 360HP 650TQ !

That was posted on another forum but the 2006 ordering guides still show 310HP 605TQ with allison so what's the soop ?

Can't give you the scoop, but the facts are that no one person that did a dyno run was able to achieve the numbers GM has been quoting for the last 4 years, so whatever they say, it will probably be less.

Individuals on these boards are using chassis dynos to measure Rear Wheel Horse Power. This includes all the losses through the drive train. Therefore, you are comparing apples and oranges.

If people were to measure the HP/TQ at the crankshaft, I speculate they would measure slightly more than what is advertised.

There is only one person that I know who has an engine dyno, and he does not have it set-up (quite yet).

I am only talking about GM's rated HP and torque for the 2006 Duramax not an individual's Duramax on a chassis dyno.
