All GM vehicles except for corvette at employee pricing till July 5th. Anyone looking to buy it is a good time...
Was not even considering a new truck. But the new price deal caused me to take a look.
I get my 05 GMC SLT crew cab Monday. Its a loaded 3500 4x4, and payment went down from the 01 I traded.
Only thing I did not like was the truck is Black. Love the color but I hate owning black to much time spent cleaning. I like white or pweter, hides dirt well.

If you are a costco member and go thru there auto program. ;) You can get that kind of saving all the time. Got my 05 for about $4500 off. KOOOOOOL. :D this is about the fifth truck that I have bought thru costco program. Only way to but a truck no haggle no hassel. smile.gif Well show there invoice on it to.And have used the same dealer every time Selman Chevy in Orange Ca. And used the same sales man every time. Tim Viugh is the best. All I do is call him tell him what I want and what I want in it, He will call me when he finds it. All I have to do is show up test drive sign paper and leave. Never tries to get me to take some other thing only gets me what I want. :D  :D

However the employee discount is significantly more. Truck stickered at roughly 51,000, employee cost 41,000 then a 3000 rebate on top of that brought it to 38,000. Or a total of 13,000 savings. :D

:D Have to say thats pretty darn goooooood deal
Yes, the employee discount is awesome. It's usually around 16-18% depending on model. You can buy a truck, drive it for a year and sell it on the street for what you paid. When my dad was working for GM he'd buy a new car every other year.
Maybe I should trade mine in now. :D My trucks have always been nothing but trouble after they get 20k on them.

The dealer told me today that the price on a 51,000+ truck was 43000+ (emp cost) then 3000 (rebate)more off, making it 40***, but I'd have to pass up the special apr from gmac.
Thats not how I read it, I read it exactly as you post it, the price should be around 38,000. It clearly states at gmbuypower.com "Cash Allowance: Up to $3,000 cash back with GMAC Financing" I walked, felt like they were mis-leading me. Wheres that in the fine print ??Arrghhh!!!

New to this forum. Bought a 2005 2500HD Duramax a couple of days ago. Impressed with it. Had a 1999 powerstroke F350 dually but wanted to downsize a little. Happy with latest discount pricing. Also got a $1,000. bonus discount for having a GM credit card. So far I have saved over $8,000. in new purchases over the years by using the credit card.
I purchased my Duramax in Oct last year under the GMS employee plan. If you want to be sure what the employee price is, request to see the manufactures invoice. The GMS price is listed right from the factory. If the dealer won't do this, walk away and find one that will.
My understanding from the Dealer I bought from is they have to honor the GMS for everyone. The dealers will have all sales audited by GM during this time frame. Again my sales man told me he has zero control in the price of the vehicle nor does the dealer, only what they give for your trade.
