Duramax only in 2006 cargo vans

I wonder why the Duramax is not available in the 2006 Express passenger van. :confused:

I believe that it will be. I will need to look for the article that I read where it discussed the availability. No Allison tranny though.

Most conversion van companies start with cargo vans. That way they don't have to tear out the interior before putting in the custom stuff and they can put the windows where they want them.

actually, conversion companies get stripped out vans, ford s are special order to conversion, comes with wood box for seat, no door panels, no trim at all. wanted to order one due to option configuration, but dealer told me you get stripped out version, passed on the idea.

another thought,
the diesel isn't available on the 15 passenger fords either, has to do with load rating s.

2006 is the first year that the extended E350 passenger van is not available with V10 or 6.0 PSD .
