Limp

Well last night i limped the truck, P0700. tried to reset with the predator and couldn't get it to go away. it wouldn't go into 5th again until i stopped. funny thing is that i hammered it at about 70, and it limped at about 95. that was with the banks ottomind and predator set at 85hp. egt was about 1200. has anyone not been able to clear the ses, or will it just take a bit to go away?

The only thing a p0700 means is that the TCM has codes stored in it. Predater will not read codes for trans. You must clear them before you can clear the 700 code.

what did I tell you...........when the tranny goes into neutral just before full limp let off the throttle coast and shift to nuetral count to 3 and back in drive no full limp and no code.............the juice senses the slip and turns back the fuel.........most of the time thats enough........... :D dave
