I was told by a gentleman last weekend that he has put a quart of ATF in every other tank of fuel in his 2002 Duramax. He claims no trouble at all with the truck. Has anyone else heard or done this?
Thanks

Biggest problem, if it's red in color, and you get road checked, I'll bet you can't talk your way out of it... smile.gif Dr. Lee suggests 1 Oz 2 cycle oil per 10 gal fuel, along with the other diesel fuel supplements. I usually pre-mix the additives and wind up with 2 oz 2 cycle per fillup ( which is usually 25 gal).
This has come up before. I'd do a search on the topic.
