Some may remember this card I recieved from my dealer;

After a week and a half I just got this reply by email on "what is proof?"
""Mark,
You will need to keep a receipt for the purchase of the filter and some type of log, best if noted on the corresponding receipt, of the date and mileage the filter was changed. I hope this helps.
Randy""
Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not sure if I have any idea of where the reciept from JK is for my filters. Sure I keep a log of maintenance items.
I'm still not sure if this is a service "come on" from my dealer or if it is a ligitimate new policy from GM. With the injector issues and all it's good advice to keep good records AND reciepts. Don't want to start a bunch of BS, but beware and hopefully dmaxallitech or one of our fine other members can get another verification of this.
