I have come across a training book that GM sent out with all the changes to the new (LLY) motor. 7 chapters with around 80 pages.
Introduction
Variable Nozzle Turbocharger (VNT)
Digital EGR
Glow Plug System
Closed PCV System
Fuel System Revisions
LLY Engine Controls
More drawings and illustrations than I could ever want to know. If any of you real motor heads want to look at it I will mail it to you. I would love to make copies of it and sent it to everybody but just inside the front cover it says that GM will get very mad if I copy their material but it never said it couldn't be read.
I guess whoever get it first will have to send it to the next guy.
