FYI, if your are getting the itch for a new truck, I just got a brochure in the mail from GM. They are offering (coupons enclosed) $1000. owner loyalty rebate on GM trucks, and an additional $1000. if it's a D-Max :cool: This is in addition to the $3000. rebate promotion currently in effect, and is good through Jan. '04. Does anyone know when the "new & improved" version of the D-Max is going to be available? DinoMax

Plus there is a "package" price for the Dura/Alli/Posi option that is about $1000 under last years combined option price.

But I still get a $39K invoice price on a loaded 2wd Chevy. Hopefully the discounts will be in place when (and if) I order.

McRat, the coupons I got in the mail are good through Jan. '04 for $2000. Not sure when the $3000. rebate will end, though. I was told back in Feb. when I bought my wife a new Envoy XL that the $3000. back or 0% was ending that month, but here we are in Aug., and it's still going strong. I think GM will keep the rebates the rest of the year, trying to stay ahead of Furd.

Kennedy, $5 grand from GM & $1750. on your GM Card?! You'll get the D-Max, Ally, and 4X4 for free :cool: Better get your order in soon.

I've been waiting patiently for my letter to arrive with the coupons (I have an '04 on order) and to date no got. Is there an address or a phone number or such on the letter you got that I could contact to see que pasa with mine?

son of a gun, I did find some contact info in the brochure. It lists a phone # of 1-866-306-3006, and a website: www.gmtruckoffer.com (http://www.gmtruckoffer.com)
Beware, though. Upon further review, I found some other info I did not see originally. For the additional $1000. rebate on the D-Max, you must take retail delivery by Sept. 30, 2003. The other $1000. rebate is valid until Jan. 02, 2004. I would be willing to bet if you called the dealer you ordered your '04 from, he could get you the rebate certificates. If not, ask him if you can use mine ;) I wont be needing them. They do have my name and a ID# pre-printed on them, but I dont know if they actually verify that stuff. Info might be there to try & keep people honest :D Anyway, if the ones I have will work for you, let me know. I'll be happy to drop the in the mail for you. DinoMax :D :D

I got up early and went to work to do a dealer search for a 2003 GMC 2500HD SLT Crew Cab with a Duramax/Allision combo. I could not find one truck any of colors combos I wanted within 700 miles. People must be buying the heck out of them because I searched two months ago and found eleven Onyx Black trucks within 300 miles. I guess I will have to order a 2004?
